The little harbor freight trailers work really good for loading bodies on. You can slide it under with a pallet or 2 on top. You can build one real easy if you have a small axle too.

Cool feature to add the trunk popper. I had heard of kits having some sort of spring to keep the door or panel open a little but I had not heard of the old valve spring trick. Learned something new here and that’s a neat old school trick I’ll have to remember.

My dad had Flathead Merc when I was a kid and it always had some kind of fuel pump problem. Years later I knew a guy with same year Flathead and asked him about it. He told me the way they were mounted up rather high they didn’t get enough lubrication and wore out real fast. I wonder if it had anything like your fuel pump push rod and maybe that groove is more important than you think.

You take the squirt bottle and fill the float bowl of the carburetor, not just shoot it in direct.

After working on 21st century cars, wiring on something like that would be a total piece of cake.

That white dash may reflect on the windshield and cause visibility issues.

That 1941 Lincoln would make a fabulous resto project, the car is basically all there, it just needs some cosmetics and mechanical overhauling, a good respray to result in a really decent show-car. It would be worth every cent spent on her.

Thank you Matt and Steve for the update on the '38 ! The dash and trim looks awesome and instruments light really sets it off ! I can imagine what they will look like at night !

Matt what dash instruments are still missing ? I know that the clock goes into the glove box door and one spot is the trash tray I believe ! But it looks like a spot or two is open also !
